0119 - Day 30 - Riga to Mikolajki - 01/07/19

Riga in Latvia to Mikolaji in Poland via Lithuania. Three countries, 560km and two tests. Both circuits interesting in very different ways. First was tarmac and fast, sweeping and hilly. Fun. And we got buzzed by the airforce in a Blackhawk :) The second (which we also do tomorrow) is a broken concrete surface with gravel. Quite unusual! In between we drove some lovely roads through fascinating towns and vilages off the beaten track. Arrived to hear from Australia that our beloved dog Jaspar has died, so that’s put a damper on my participation in the car park party. Sorry about that. Hope tomorrow is a better day....
