0114 - Day 25 - Zavidovo to St Petersburg - 26/06/19

Zavidovo to St Petersburg. Transit day of 650km to get us towards Finland. One short test at a circuit 30km short of the Baltic Star Hotel on the outskirts of St P broke up an otherwise long and tiring day of road miles. However a few hours in the centre of St P made me realise what a remarkable and historical city this is. Sadly I may not have a chance to really enjoy it as Gidget needs the starter motor sorting and also fluids changing after something approaching 9000 hard kilometres. So “rest” day 4 will be spent on that instead and I’ll have to comeback to St P for a proper look another time.
