0110 - Day 21 - REST DAY in Ufa - 22/06/19

Rest day 3. Pah. Spent all day in the workshop replacing Gidget’s clutch and giving her oil changes of various sorts - so hopefully that’ll see us through to St Petersburg. Not the cheapest day of my motoring career but a necessary evil I guess! Unfortunately Gidget took umbrage at being tinkered with (I even gave her bottom a clean!) and decided to develop an intermittent electrical gremlin on the way back. Which left me beside a very fast moving sea of traffic for five minutes until she deigned to start again. I suspect a faulty cut out switch so have by-passed it. Also got the wiring on our new horn wrong. Colourblindness is a pain sometimes 🤣
Anyway here are some photos of various broken bits of clutch, more broken cars, a few observations from around Ufa, including some hilarious translations on the menu, and evidence I did wash my clothes last night.
