Largely transit to Astana from Pavlovar so a pretty long day - we were
out at 8.34 and arrived at 6.30. So I’m knackered! But the transits were
interspersed with three shortish off road sections, the first of which
was turned into a Passage Control so we drove it at a leisurely pace and
thoroughly enjoyed it - Mongolia has toughened us up so it was s breeze
comparatively! The second and third were back to back and stayed as
Sporting Time Controls so the seconds mattered!
We managed to only accumulate 20 seconds of penalties on the second and
forty on the third so very happy with those! This evening Gidget got a
shower to try to clear the radiator of mud from two days ago but the
chap got carried away. And of course she wouldn’t start after having
that much water sprayed into the electrics! Good day all in all, and we
climbed another place in the rankings š Our lovely friends John and Chris shared the photo of the two of us a week ago in Mongolia. I think I prefer the rain :)
