0106 - Day 17 - Astana to Balkhashino (camp 7) - 18/06/19

From Astana to an overnight in our last camp somewhere west of Astana - most basic camp yet but much the most engaging - possibly as it was the last! Unfortunately during the day the clutch thrust bearing gave up so we limped in on no clutch and spent most of the evening trying to get parts organised for Ufa in a few days time (we rebuilt the clutch completely in Australia so aren’t carrying any spares unfortunately). However Gidget is driveable still, albeit carefully so we are still in the running. Not many photos, sorry been busy fixing stuff 😀
